How to properly stage your listing for a shoot!

Don’t forget about one of the most important things when it comes to making your listing perfect! We recommend that you take some serious effort into staging your home before we help photograph it. Staging your living room is extremely important since it’s one of the main rooms of the home. You want to help buyers picture themselves relaxing and enjoying the home in the highlight of the house.

While it’s a good idea to keep things super clean, it’s also a good idea to have it feel “homey” and comforting when you glance at it. Make sure that you have a comfortable couch or a stylish chair where somebody can imagine their afternoon reading a book by the fireplace or enjoying a nice cup of coffee in the morning with a throw blanket.

With your kitchen it’s the same concept, you don’t want to have it cluttered, but having a few things on the counter top that you would typically use in a kitchen such as a knife set, plants, appliances that have a clean look, spice rack, cutting boards, etc. But remember, not too much clutter, but enough to make it look like a place that somebody would enjoy living.

Bedrooms are important due to the fact that so many people spend so much time sleeping in this specific area. Once again, another cozy setup where you can imagine yourself relaxing and enjoying your night after a long day of work.

If you can’t stage every single part of your listing, start in the main areas to help the focal points stand out and have a connection with a potential buyer. Once you start seeing how these areas are staged, you’ll most likely be motivated to step into every part of the home to ensure that each room has the same type of welcoming vibe.
